Engine and power train were the key differentiators, and the barriers for entry were very high. A wave of disruption led by electrification and the proliferation of mobility services has shifted the balance towards servicification of mobility. Many non-traditional players have entered the space with a view toward changing the rules of the game. Product feature differentiation is giving way to service differentiation, resulting in significant impact on how organizations across the board function. Teams must adopt a servicification mindset. Organizations must be more innovative, nimble, and open to new technology and business model trends. However, that is easier said than done. Changing the mindset from &#8220;automotive way of working&#8221; to &#8220;mobility mindset&#8221; involves unlearning and re-learning. How can organizations rise to this challenge?
