Session Abstract:
To foster innovation and drive competitive advantage, firms must develop, manage, and deploy a consistent pipeline of new ideas. However, systematically collecting, and dispositioning concepts from across disparate functions, lines of business, and/or customer segments presents a variety of challenges. In this session, you will learn that the key to effective ideation management involves striking the right balance between people, process, and technology to create the highest value for the organization.

• Understanding the relationship between innovation, ideation, and idea management
• Discuss different ideation models – including processes, stakeholders, and outcomes
• Define how to measure success and continually enhance your ideation management function

A Membership Brainstorm – an 80% interactive format. Brainstorm sessions zero in on key areas of focus within a Council Critical Issue. Participants engage in spontaneous group discussion to generate ideas and problem-solve about shared challenges.

Abstract:
Join your fellow members in a brainstorming session exploring the potential for impactful strategic partnerships.  As a group, we will share ideas for collaboration, how to identify mutual goals, and how to uncover opportunities to strengthen those involved.

• Identifying your unique needs and selecting the ideal partner
• Harnessing ecosystems and cross-industry collaboration to drive mutual value
• Co-creating tailored solutions vs. broad offerings, ensuring optimized investments

Our 2025 Annual Council Meeting will be held on Monday, September 15th, as part of the Innovation Workshop & Tour at Georgia Tech ATDC. Immediately following the Welcome Networking Bruncheon, participating Partners will collaborate on a preliminary set of critical issues to later be sent out to Growth Partners for a Council vote. This process will determine the Critical Issues Agenda, to be addressed throughout 2026. The Critical Issues Agenda will guide the development of in-person events, virtual events and curated content. Setting the Critical Issues Agenda is a key role in ensuring the content for the Council remains driven by its Partners.
